Uff ! So much has been happening in our beloved Dimaraji !!!! One News-headline after another ! Some were really engrossing while many were just another trite( speaking about NE media, national media is in oblivion out there). By the way this post is just an impromptu piece . Just as I was browsing the net , typed "dimasa" on the search engine for news section, Gotcha !!! there they are , hell lot of topics written about Dimasa. Most of them are written based on highly subjective issue, which most of the people will disagree (You know, human being can be divided into different categories), while other are fictional accounts and yeah, there are peppy melodramatics too, just for entertaining the readers.
Hmm !, while the other day I saw an article, "militants on hunger strike", "Militant leader on fast until death" , Literally my eyes came popping out. I mean what??? The so-called leader, leading the bunch of overzealous youths who sowed and showed the way of violence following "Gandhigiri" !!.Well, I must say Nothing is Impossible. So what if he didn't starve to death? he certainly grabbed the much needed attention. Guess what in this melee , the main issue is lost somewhere.
"North East India militant group gave ultimatum to GOI" read another article. Either concede to their demand of Dimaraji or they'll be back to the jungle, they threatened( I mean jungle is next to their designated camp, who thinks their camp is in the city). It didn't need much thought to discern that after the recent "1000 crore Scam" surfaced their coffers are running dry and they are probably wondering how to meet their lavish life expenses(of course leaders). Now they have to fall back to their old milch cow "Dimaraji".
Now what do the aam-admi(Mango People) Dimasa do? Their ephemeral peaceful life ( so to say) will be back to normal life (all those firing, abduction, murder etc are common in this part of the world). So where is the main issue ?? Every organisation declared ostensibly that they are fighting for the people, for their welfare( read Dimasa in this article) . Mothers whose progenies are kept away from Dimaraji are told not to head back home( It surely hurts , when your mom says "Son, Please don't come home"). Young people will have to do reconcile with fact their childhood friends are no more( as they can't afford monetarily to leave their "Home"). So where is the welfare of the Dimasa? Wondering, does "development" come only at such a cost?? General people have got only Hobson's choice ! But working hard on it I culled the following choices -
1) Support violence and live with fear(Even if you don't support you have to live with fear)
2) Politics is no option.(sane turns insane in the game)
3) Be indifferent , leave your home and don't head back anymore.
4) Just participate in the "rally" against immigration .
5)Live with frustration, pay bribe, wait for the next election !
6) Feel sorry , sit back and wonder your whole life what to do?
